The WR284 Waveguide Quick Connect/Disconnect Connector has been designed to allow waveguide components to be assembled & dis-assembled quickly and easily without the need for any tools. The WR284 Waveguide Quick Connect/Disconnect Connector comprises of Male & Female Couplers and optional Blanking Plates for preventing moisture and debris entering your waveguide system whilst disconnected or in transit. The WR284 Waveguide Quick Connect/Disconnect Connector is ideally suited to SNG & other broadcast applications where rapid assembly is required.
The quick release waveguide coupling plates simply screw onto your existing waveguide flanges and allow quick and easy assemble your waveguide components, using only the captive thumbscrews on the quick release coupler plates. The system incorporates o rings for a secure environmental seal.
We offer an additional test & calibration service whereby our technical team can provide sweep testing of cables and waveguide to measure and document specific performance data for each assembly. We also recommend all cable and waveguide assemblies are temperature cycled; this normalises any dielectric and gasket seating ensuring optimum performance and overall stability of the assembly.
