WR284 Low Power Dummy Load Termination

Description

This is a Low Power Dummy Load Termination for S Band WR284 waveguide. A Low Power Dummy Load also referred to as an RF load termination, or Dummy Load, is used as the substitute of an antenna during RF tests and acts as protection for the transmitter (BUC, HPA, TWTA, or SSPB). The Low Power Dummy Load Termination for WR284 protects the transmitting components of an antenna system by providing a resistive load that matches the impedance of the antenna system.

We offer an additional test & calibration service whereby our technical team can provide sweep testing of cables and waveguide to measure and document specific performance data for each assembly. We also recommend all cable and waveguide assemblies are temperature cycled; this normalises any dielectric and gasket seating ensuring optimum performance and overall stability of the assembly.
