A ViaLite Dispersion Compensation Module (also called a Dispersion Compensation Fiber (DCF)) provides fixed chromatic dispersion compensation for diverse and disaster recovery DWDM networks. ViaLite Dispersion Compensation Modules can support medium to long distance fiber optic systems ranging from 30 km to 600 km.
Dispersion Compensation Modules are available as part of ViaLite’s Rain Fade Diversity Link System and each Dispersion Compensation Module can be supplied in 5 km increments.
ViaLite Dispersion Compensation Modules are purely passive modules based on the ITU G.652 standard to provide negative dispersion for DWDM transmission systems, increasing transmission range and decreasing BER of optical links. ViaLite Dispersion Compensation Modules can be used to address dispersion on standard single mode optical fiber (SMF) across the entire C-Band and L-Band range.
ViaLite RF over Fibre solutions are highly customisable and as a result systems are specified for a customer’s specific application. Contact our Australian based team to discuss your application so we can configure a solution for your requirements. ViaLite manufactures a wide range of RF over Fiber electronic systems, which allow RF signals to be transmitted over fiber optic cables. ViaLite is a market leader in RF over Fibre Systems for the Satcom, Broadcast, Telemetry, Cellular, and Timing markets. ViaLite’s solutions include L-Band HTS, C-Band, Broadcast links, ViaLite’s SIGINT links, and GPS links.
