Description

This S Band WR284 Flexible Waveguide 30cm (12″) Length is designed for use at 2.6-3.95GHz. The S Band WR284 Flexible Waveguide can be used for either Rx or Tx applications on equipment located indoors or outdoors. The advantage of using Flexible Waveguide is that is can be easily moulded to complicated shapes in the field or in equipment rack setups, however it does suffer from higher attenuation when compared to rigid waveguide.

The S Band WR284 Flexible Waveguide 30cm (12″) Length can be used outdoors and is constructed from silver clad brass with a UV stabilised neoprene jacket for protection from the environment. The S Band WR284 Flexible Waveguide 30cm (12″) Length can be supplied with grooved flanges or flat flanges to match other components in your RF chain.

S Band Flexible Waveguide should be used in applications where vibration is present to minimise the potential for cracking/damage that would compromise the integrity of the waveguide.

We offer an additional test & calibration service whereby our technical team can provide sweep testing of cables and waveguide to measure and document specific performance data for each assembly. We also recommend all cable and waveguide assemblies are temperature cycled; this normalises any dielectric and gasket seating ensuring optimum performance and overall stability of the assembly.
