The PBI DXP-3800EC 8 Channel MPEG 2 SD Encoder is a high density 8 channel encoder ideally suited to broadcast and IPTV applications. The PBI DXP-3800EC 8 Channel MPEG 2 SD Encoder can accept up to eight CVBS inputs of Standard Definition (SD) with unbalanced (RCA) stereo audio. The services are then encoded simultaneously and outputted via TS/IP or via ASI output.
The encoded channels can be re-multiplexed with a second TS stream looped through the re-multiplexer via the ASI input, the new TS stream is then available via the DXP-3800EC’s Gigabit TS/IP port and ASI output port.
