The PBI C01TM 4 Channel COFDM Modulator Module is a RF output module for the DCP-3000 Digital Content Processing Platform that is able to output up to four independent COFDM carriers. If the PBI C01TM 4 Channel COFDM Modulator Module is configured to mirror the Australia standard for DVB-T signal each RF carrier can provide up to 23Mbps of throughput or 4-6 TV channels depending on each channels bit rate.
The PBI C01TM 4 Channel COFDM Modulator Module is ideal for use in Foxtel or Pay TV headends that use traditional coax cable for distribution of channels throughout a building. The format outputted via the PBI C01TM 4 Channel COFDM Modulator Module can be decoded and viewed on a standard digital television or set top box.
