This Waveguide to Coax adapter utilises the K type connector which is physically compatible with SMA connectors but offer improved performance up to 40GHz. Standard SMA connectors are typically rated to 18GHz or in some cases 26GHz+. This Ka Band Waveguide to Coax Adapter utilises the K type connector to ensure optimise and consistent performance up to 40GHz (to match the waveguide interface).
We offer an additional test & calibration service whereby our technical team can provide sweep testing of cables and waveguide to measure and document specific performance data for each assembly. We also recommend all cable and waveguide assemblies are temperature cycled; this normalises any dielectric and gasket seating ensuring optimum performance and overall stability of the assembly.
