The HL1100W from Hughes Network Systems is a User Terminal (UT) that operates from 14.0 to 14.5 GHz (Tx) and 10.7 to 12.7 GHz (Rx). It is designed for outdoor environments and can be configured to function right out of the box. This terminal includes a low-profile electronically steerable antenna (ESA) that is optimised for operation over the OneWeb Ku-band low earth orbit (LEO) satellite constellation, and provides high-bandwidth and low latency. The ESA consists of a built-in modem and Wi-Fi functionality (Wi-Fi 6). This UT operates based on half-duplex communication mode and delivers a data rate of 75 Mbps (downlink) and 14 Mbps (uplink).
The HL1100W delivers an output power of 130 W with an EIRP of +36.6 dBW and has a G/T of up to 11.3 dB/K. This satellite terminal is designed for outdoor environments and is constructed with a durable aluminium chassis. It is available in a lightweight, weather-tight housing that measures 59.8 x 40.2 x 6 cm and can be controlled via an Ethernet interface. This terminal is easy to install and makes optimal use of the OneWeb system capabilities for low latency and high speeds. It requires an AC supply from 100 to 240 V and consumes less than 130 W of power.
