Description

The CPI 3.8m C Band 1385 Series Satellite Dish is a high-performance precision molded, four-piece, offset reflector design typically used in VSAT (Tx/Rx) networks. The CPI 3.8m C Band 1385 Series Satellite Dish is made from a durable SMC and hot-dip galvanised steel construction providing an antenna solution that can endure even the most challenging of environmental conditions.

The CPI 3.8m C Band 1385 Series Satellite Dish is type approved for use in the Ku Band, C Bands and X Bands and rated to transmit and receive satellite signal in both linear and circular polarisations. The CPI 3.8m C Band 1385 Series Satellite Dish is a durable four piece antenna system that utilises a azimuth over elevation mount with an elevation adjustment of 12° to 90° and an azimuth adjustment of a full 360° (35° of fine adjustment). The CPI 3.8m C Band 1385 Series Satellite Dish is ideally suited to very small aperture terminal (VAST) installations and high power data Tx systems.

CPI SAT 1385 Mounting Options:

The 3.8m C Band 1385 Series Satellite Dish has three mounting options available. The first is a simple in ground mount which is a length of pipe 273mm OD in diameter concreted in the ground with a plinth poured around the top edge. This type of mount is best suited to installations at ground level where no existing concrete footings have been poured.

The second type of mount available for the 1385 series 3.8m dish is a pedestal type mount, and is manufactured locally to CPI SAT specifications. This type of mount consists of a piece of pipe 273mm OD in diameter welded to a base plate with gussets added for extra stability and strength. This mount is best suited to building roof tops or locations where an existing concrete mounting pad exists.

The third mounting option available for the 1385 series dish is a non-penetrating mount (NPM). An NPM mount is ballasted in position allowing the dish to be installed without the need for permanent fixings. The required amount of ballast can be calculated for different geographically wind rated areas in Australia. This is great for temporary installations.

Additionally, we can also provide engineering services in the format of site specific Structural Design Certificate which is commonly required by councils and building management groups prior to installation.
