Our C Band High Performance Circular Feedhorn provides the most efficient method of converting circularly polarised C band signal to linear polarisation for prime focus satellite dishes. This configuration allows two single polarity LNBs to be used to receive both polarities simultaneously on circularly polarised satellites.
Our C Band High Performance Circular Feedhorn provides the most efficient method of converting circularly polarised C band signal to linear polarisation for prime focus satellite dishes. This configuration allows two single polarity LNBs to be used to receive both polarities simultaneously on circularly polarised satellites.
Our C Band High Performance Circular Feedhorn utilises our High Efficiency Feedring which maximises the illumination of the parabolic reflector through the design of its focusing ring. Additionally, the feedhorn utilises our C Band OMT Coupler to provide superior cross polarisation performance which is achieved through direct coupling of the CPR-229 flanges. The feedhorns performance is further increased through the use of our C Band Waveguide Polariser to converts the circularly polarised satellite signal to a linear signal that can be received efficiently by the LNB. When our C Band Waveguide Polariser is compared to a dielectric plate the traditional method of converting circularly polarised signals to linear, the polariser provides a 2-2.5dB improvement in carrier to noise performance.
This feedhorn is ideal for use on Intelsat 18 to receive ABC Plus. For a detailed explanation of circular and linear polarised signals please read our explanation here.
