The Av-Comm R6002 Professional 16APSK Satellite IRD provides a professional decoding and processing solution for broadcasters, teleports, and system integrators. The Av-Comm R6002 Professional 16APSK Satellite IRD utilises a powerful new processor allowing the unit to process and decode signals up to 16APSK. Additionally, the Av-Comm R6002 Professional 16APSK Satellite IRD includes a confidence monitor built into the front panel to provide a quick reference of the units operation.

Av-Comm R6002 Professional 16APSK Satellite IRD supports MPEG 2 and MPEG 4 decoding via HD/SD-SDI, YPbPr, HDMI, stereo balanced audio, unbalanced audio, S/PDIF digital audio, and CVBS outputs. Additionally, the Av-Comm R6002 Professional 16APSK Satellite IRD supports remultiplexing of the transport stream allowing operators to create custom outputs via the ASI and TS/IP outputs.

The Av-Comm R6002 Professional 16APSK Satellite IRD supports decryption of encrypted signals via the units conditional interface and supports onboard decoding of BISS 1 and E. Programming and operation of the Av-Comm Professional 16APSK Satellite IRD can be achieved by the front panel, web based GUI, or NMS software.
