The Av-Comm L1517 C Band 3.625-4.2 GHz Filtered PLL LNB provides a input frequency range of 3.625 – 4.2GHz whilst still providing ~55dB of isolation from interfering carriers such as aircraft radar altimeters. The Av-Comm C Band 3.625-4.2 GHz Filtered PLL LNB utilises phase lock loop technology to provide an internal local oscillator stability of +/-300kHz. The addition of the low pass filter module before the LNB front conversion stage prevents P1dB input compression overload and the subsequent intermodulation products being generated and sent down the coax cable to the decoder or modem. Another advantage of the Av-Comm C Band 3.625-4.2 GHz Filtered PLL LNB is that it does not suffer from insertion loss unlike standalone waveguide bandpass filters ensuring no degradation to signal level or carrier to noise.
Our colleagues at Av-Comm have written a C Band 5G Interference White Paper that provides insight into why interference is impacting C Band reception in Australia and the industry best practise method to resolve C Band interference issue for location and license areas throughout Australia.
If you are experiencing the effects of C Band interference on your C Band satellite system or network contact our office and we will provide you will a range of solutions to restore your system and mitigate any future impact of C Band interference.
