The Av-Comm L1508N Enhanced C Band 5G Filtered PLL LNB 3.9-4.2GHz is a single polarity LNB with an input range of 3.9–4.2GHz with the addition of a bandpass filter. The Av-Comm L1508N Enhanced C band 5G LNB is our latest design and provides up to 100dB of rejection for out of band signals.
The passband of the Av-Comm Enhanced C Bandpass Filtered LNB combined with the addition of a bandpass filter ensures that any terrestrial 5G interference originating within extended C Band (3.4-3.7GHz) or standard C Band (3.7-3.9GHz) is rejected from the input before conversion and processing, ensuring nominal C Band downlink performance. One of the key benefits of using an Av-Comm C Band 5G Filtered LNB when compared to using a standalone waveguide filter is that Av-Comm’s LNB solution does not suffer from insertion loss unlike standalone waveguide filters.
Av-Comm has written a C Band 5G Interference White Paper that provides insight into why 5G interference is impacting C Band reception in Australia and the industry best practice method to resolve C Band interference issue for location and license area throughout Australia. If you are experiencing the effects of C Band interference on your C Band satellite system or network contact our office and we will provide you will a range of solutions to restore your system and mitigate any future impact of C Band interference.
The Av-Comm L1508N Enhanced C Band 5G Filtered PLL LNB is designed in Australia and supports the Australian satellite communications and space industry.
