The Av-Comm Inline L Band pass Filter protects the input of satellite decoders and modems from terrestrial 5G interference. The Av-Comm range of Inline L Band Filters provide a simple and cost effective solution to filter out minor doses of 5G interference that may be entering the RF chain of a C Band receive only satellite system.
The Av-Comm Inline L Band pass Filter has a Passband of 950-1450MHz and two stop bands of 40-806MHz and 1600-2500MHz and typically provides 45dB of rejection through the stop bands. The Av-Comm Inline L Band pass Filter is installed at the decoder, screwing directing on to the L Band input of the satellite decoder or modem inline with the existing coax cable. The Av-Comm Inline L Band pass Filter passes DC volts and 10MHz reference signals to the LNB ensuring easy integration with existing satellite setups.
Our colleagues at Av-Comm have written a C Band 5G Interference White Paper that provide insight into why 5G interference is impacting C Band reception in Australia and the industry best practise method to resolve C Band interference issue for location and license area throughout Australia. If you are experiencing the effects of C Band interference on your C Band satellite system or network contact our office and we will provide you will a range of solutions to restore your system and mitigate any future impact of C Band interference.
