Description

This directional coupler 20dB offers reduction on the output ports and is rated from 15 – 2150MHz. A directional coupler provides superior isolation between output ports when compared with a traditional tap or splitter.

If a RF or DC fault arises in a device connected to an output socket of a traditional splitter or tap, the RF or DC signal will be passed across to all the devices connected to the systems. A directional coupler mitigates the risk of this happening and isolates the fault so that it can’t interfere with or damage any other part of the system.
