Engineered for durability, the radome protects against all weather-related effects, including water ingress, dust, debris, wind, and extreme conditions such as UV exposure, snow, and ice while preserving RF signal transmission efficiency, obscuring antenna look-angles, and extending the operational life of the enclosed communications system.
The 30m composite sandwich radome operates passively, requiring no external power, airflow systems, or electronic components. Its construction features a fiberglass-foam core layered with interlocking panels to form a rigid, sandwich-like shell designed to withstand up to Category 5 cyclones.
The 30m composite sandwich radome can be tailored to almost any specification, including frequency ranges from UHF to V-Band (500 kHz to 50 GHz), and is fully customizable in diameter, hydrophobic surface, colour, shape, truncation, and frequency response to meet specific communication system requirements.
