Last month, our Director of Business Relations, Evan Kirk, attended the 39th Space Symposium in Colorado Springs, USA. The Space Symposium has brought together space leaders from around the world to discuss, address, and plan for the future of space since the inaugural event in 1984.
Attendees at that original event numbered 250 space enthusiasts. At the 38th Space Symposium (April 17-20, 2023), over 10,000 people from more than 40 countries participated in the event. The Space Symposium has become widely known as the premier U.S. space policy and program forum and as the must-attend event for information and interaction among all sectors of space.
Evan actively networked and held meetings with various US partners, including suppliers and customers present at the show such as Communications Power Industries, Swedish Space Corporation, and General Dynamics Mission Systems.
The purpose of the trip was to enhance Av-Comm’s presence in the US market within the aerospace and defence sectors. Additionally, it aimed to explore new business opportunities and strengthen collaborations with both US and international companies, particularly in support of their space missions.
Av-Comm’s participation at the 39th Space Symposium exemplifies our commitment to global engagement and innovation within the aerospace and defence industries. With steadfast dedication to excellence and partnership, Av-Comm continues contributing to the ongoing evolution of space technology and ground segment engineering on a globa l scale.
