Av-Comm were proud to represent the best of Australia’s space and satellite communications industries at SATELLITE 2023, the world’s largest satcoms and hardware show.. A true convergence of the world’s leading space and satcoms thinkers and innovators, Av-Comm’s Managing Director Michael Cratt spent four days in discussions with international partners like OneWeb, SES, Intelsat, QuasarSat, EM Solutions and Comtech.“It was especially great to see the evolution in flat panel technologies from vendors around the world which has grown from a select one or two manufacturers to now a dozen emergent businesses, all making great technological strides,” Mr Cratt said.
The pair also commented on their meeting with OneWeb, congratulating the LEO operator on the successful launch of their Generation 1 constellation which will go live later this year.
During their visit to the United States of America, Michael was also warmly welcomed by CPI. They toured four of CPI’s manufacturing facilities in Kilgore and Plano, Texas and Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, where the SouthPAN satellite ground stations are being manufactured.
