We’re proud to share that Av-Comm Space & Defence is now a foundation member of the Space Industry Association of Australia (SIAA).
This milestone reflects our commitment to advocating for the needs of SMEs across the Australian space industry. We’re so excited to continue collaborating with the SIAA and industry partners to strengthen Australia’s place in space. As ambassadors of the sector, Foundation Members help shape the narrative and direction of Australia’s space ambitions and underpin SIAA’s work to advocate for the growth of the Australian space sector.
Through our recognition as foundation members, Av-Comm aims to drive important policy discussion and represent the needs of SMEs in the Space Industry on the national stage. Particularly in the light of growing geopolitical tensions across the globe, it is essential that industry in Australia is strong, sovereign, and collaborative. Av-Comm joins SIAA as a foundation member to strengthen and advocate for the rich landscape that makes up our unique and critical industry.
We are humbled to have been invited to join SIAA as a foundation member, and give thanks to SIAA CEO Dan Lloyd, who noted Av-Comm as an “integral representative of the crucial role SMEs play within the Space Industry” at the recent International Astronautical Congress in Sydney.
We are excited to join SIAA on their mission of working closely with Australian governments, international partners, academia, and industry to advance Australia’s space industry and economy.
