VAST Conditional Access Module Multi Service

Description

This is a Multi-Service Viewer Access Satellite Television (VAST) Conditional Access Module and Smartcard combo. This version of the VAST Conditional Access Module & Smartcard can support simultaneous decryption of 10 services (TV or Radio). The CAM and Smartcard can be used in a variety of commercial, rack mountable satellite receivers for the reception of the VAST platform on the Optus D3 and Optus 10 satellites colocated at 156E.

The VAST CAM provides an ideal solution for radio and television re-broadcast sites, SMATV and MATV headends used for the distribution of the  Viewer Access Satellite Television (VAST) platform throughout a distribution system. The CAM will decrypt up to eight VAST services; the services can then be passed through to the decoder or on to additional Integrated Receiver Decoders via an ASI connection.

For the best results we recommend use with the PBI 3200 & PBI 5200 Professional VAST Satellite Receivers. We have tested and used PBI Satellite Decoders at dozens of sites throughout Australia.
