8th Signal Regiment Sponsorship
Av-Comm is the proud major sponsor of the Australian Defence Force’s 8th Signal Regiment in the Cadaceus Cup for the second year in a row!
The Cadecues Cup is run during Royal Australian Corps of Signals (RASIGS) Corps Week. It is essentially a sports carnival run over several days, with rugby, tug-of-war, volleyball, etc, and the main event is the relay run. We sponsor 8 Sig Regt which is a reserve unit, and it is the only national Signals Regiment. 8 Sig responsibilities are primarily for domestic operations and have worked to support the nation during times like crisis (floods and fire) and in border security.

The Av-Comm L1212 Ku Super-Wideband LNB 10.70-11.70/11.70-12.75GHz utilises two local oscillators of 9.75 @13 VDC and 10.6 @18 VDC and is typically used on Ku Band satellites with a downlink frequency range of 10.70-11.70GHz as well as 11.70-12.75GHz. The LNB has a stability of ±25 kHz.
PBI DCH-3200P Professional VAST Satellite Decoder
The PBI DCH-3200P Professional VAST Satellite Decoder is a professional rack mounted satellite receiver designed to receive and decode the Australian Viewer Access Satellite Television (VAST) platform broadcast from the Optus 10 satellite located at 156E.
Av-Comm L1507F Enhanced C Band 5G Filtered PLL LNB 3.8-4.2GHz +/-5kHz
The Av-Comm L1507F Enhanced C Band 5G Filtered PLL LNB 3.8-4.2GHz is a single polarity LNB with an input range of 3.8–4.2GHz with the addition of a bandpass filter. The Av-Comm L1508F Enhanced C band 5G LNB is our latest design and provides up to 100dB of rejection for out of band signals.
