Av-Comm Space & Defence is proud to announce the successful completion of a multi-orbit antenna as well as a UHF/VHF CubeSat antenna for Edith Cowan University (ECU), supporting advanced satellite communications capability for research and development applications.

The project involved the delivery and installation of two high-performance antenna system designed to support operations across multiple satellite orbits. These systems provide ECU with a flexible platform to support advanced research and development in satellite communications and emerging space technologies.
Project Delivery
Av-Comm provided a full turnkey solution, including civil works, antenna installation, RF integration, and system commissioning. The installation was executed with a strong focus on safety, precision, and efficiency within an active university environment. A key milestone in the project was the successful crane lift and assembly of the antenna system, requiring detailed planning and coordination to ensure safe and accurate installation.
Outcome
The completed system delivers a future-ready ground segment capability, enabling ECU to:
